Apartment Centre is located in the centre of Ljubljana, a neighbourhood of the Old Town between the Castle and Ljubljanica river called Prule.
Prule are a part of the Old Town that was specialized in fishing and boat transportation along the Ljubljanica river. This gave the neighbourhood a distinct character that it kept to this day.
The architecture is classical 19th century with large houses packed close to each other but often with large patios. Today the area is mostly residential although it houses a number of government institutions as well – Statistical Office and National archive for instance. Some very good restaurants have also found their spot under the sun here as did some artists.
